In this post, however, I will be guiding you through most of the best scholarship opportunities and programs to apply for.
Not all scholarships are indeed created equal. Some scholarships may come in as only cover for living expenses while some may come in the form of tuition fee covers only. Some scholarship offers may even be a partial cash grant, but do you know that there are some that cover, not just tuition fees alone but also living expenses and sometimes may include insurance, book allowance, travel costs and so many more?

Fullbright Foreign Student Program (USA):
For international students who need to study for a Master’s or Ph.D. in the US, the Fulbright Foreign Student Program offers a soft grant. The Fulbright program provides funding for the duration of the review. Most commonly, the award supports educational costs, airfare, a living allowance, medical care, and other expenses.
British Chevening Scholarships (UK):
Chevening Scholarships are awarded by the UK government’s worldwide grant program to exceptional researchers with innovative prospects. Grants are typically for a one-year Master’s degree. Most Chevening Scholarships cover educational expenses, a living remittance at a set rate (for one person), an economy class return flight to the UK, and additional awards to cover basic needs.
Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships (Switzerland):
The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships provide individuals from all fields with the extraordinary opportunity to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral studies at one of Switzerland’s publicly funded colleges or recognized organizations. The grant pays for monthly remittances, educational expenses, health insurance, and living expenses, among other things.
Swedish Scholarships for International Students (Sweden):
The Swedish Institute provides grants in Sweden to highly qualified international students from agricultural nations who wish to pursue full-time Master’s degrees at Swedish universities. The grant covers educational expenses, daily living expenses, some movement awards, and protection.
VLIR-UOS Training and Masters Scholarships (Belgium):
VLIR-UOS awards grants to students from selected non-industrial nations in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to pursue training and master’s programs in development at universities in Belgium.
