TOP 50 free tuition universities for undergraduates in Finland

A lot of students have benefited from the free tuition offer in Finland. The government of Finland through the ministry of education funds university higher education in Finland. This means international students enrolled in normal degree courses do not pay tuition fees. This post contains the list of Tuition Free Universities in Finland.

Tuition fees are not charged for bachelor, doctorate and several Master’s Programs. This is also the same for international degree students, visiting students and exchange students. There are instances though where some master programs may charge non-EU/EEA students tuition fees.

Universities have student unions that charge membership fees every term. This is compulsory for individuals studying for their bachelor’s or master’s degrees while it is not compulsory for individuals enrolled for a doctoral programs as they may join if they choose to do so.

One important part of studying in Finland is determining how you will take care of yourself during your stay in the country. You will need to make plans for covering expenses such as feeding, insurance, travel e.t.c. it is worth pointing out that financing yourself by working in Finland is not possible.
