Job Description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiter/Waitress on a full-time basis at Bourne Leisure in the United Kingdom. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests in our restaurants and dining areas. Your focus will be on providing a friendly and efficient dining experience, ensuring our guests’ satisfaction and enjoyment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and taking food and drink orders accurately.
• Provide recommendations and assist guests in making choices from the menu, considering dietary preferences and any special requirements.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and professionally, ensuring correct order accuracy and presentation.
• Attend to guests’ needs throughout their dining experience, promptly addressing any requests or concerns.
• Clear tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, using the appropriate payment methods.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
• Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and assisting in other areas of the operation as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not essential. Training can be provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Food hygiene certification is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
